Caleb Joseph's analysis on the Biggio trade was a little weird.

"Yeah he was hitting just .211 but nobody hits well without regular at-bats and he can do better with the Dodgers giving him a chance."

30 seconds later:

"Will he get regular at-bats? Maybe not."

But why is it so hard to accept a demotion to AAA? Just an example, but Edwin Encarnacion was DFAed by the Jays sent to Vegas around same age Biggio is now. Look how he turned out.

He probably would have been more likely to accept the demotion if no one around the league wanted him. But he's obviously good enough to at least hold down a bench spot somewhere, so I don't really blame him for choosing a spot on someone else's MLB roster rather than in Buffalo.

The far most likely player to leave right now is...Biggio. He's a $4 million backup player that's worse defensively than Espinal was and has so far been no better offensively. With Barger having pretty much the same skill set, there's no need to keep him around. (May 29th)

Atkins at his best:

We are a run prevention team....NOW introducing your starting 3rd baseman VLADDY, and your starting 2nd baseman Spencer Horwitz

We are expecting INTERNAL improvements.....Because everyone we tried to sign said NO

And how does a guy go from not good enough to be on your roster to now being your leadoff hitter within a week?

He can certainly do better on a better team surrounded by better players.

Up to Cavan to prove he deserves that playing time, I guess. Dodgers must've seen something in him to take him on.

I hope he does well over there.

I think we knew that, considering the Jays have been linked to Soto in the past and the fact that he's good friends with Vladdy.
And where did you get the idea they are friends.
Who would you want on your team today, Vladdy or Hernandez.
The Blue Jays decided on the famous name in Canada fir marketing reasons.

Or buy? Can’t imagine the White Sox are buying.

Sorry meant that regarding the moving of renewal tickets tweet.

If you were buying then leaving the ticket renewal date to after the deadline makes sense. Better players and team to get the fans excited.

But if you moving it before the deadline, looks like selling is their plan or at least a legit option

It was like a month or so ago that we could have cut Vogelbach before his salary became guaranteed and they let a very small hot streak cloud their judgment. Waste of money. Held onto Biggio for extra years and let his value plummet.. management is not good at making decisions in a timely manner and it continues to cost them. The major changes that still need to be made or addressed are likely still a year or 2 away if Atkins and Shapiro are safe in their jobs.
