So what you're all telling me is you would take him ahead of Daniels and Williams? Wow some fans are clueless. We don't even win the game yesterday if Jacoby didn't come in and we certainly don't win the game in Washington because there's no way he could do what Jade and Daniels can do

You said to draft another QB. So are any of the QBs in draft supposed to be better than Maye? And even if they are Maye has shown enough so far in limited action where you now need to hand him the keys. He doesn't have to be better than Daniels or Williams. Why would you draw a conclusion that the 3rd QB taken not being better than the two QBs taken ahead of him means you need to then draft another QB?
Not trolling I'm being honest we wasted a number three pick we could have had marvison Harrison Jr a legit number one receiver for the next decade. Yes there are definitely better options coming out this year at quarterback then May the biggest problem is he is not mobile like Daniel's or Williams or Jackson mahomes Stroud I can go on and on he will be a decent quarterback but not a legit number one we would not have won the game yesterday if he was in there and he certainly would never have been able to do with Daniels did to win that game in Washington yesterday that's my point
We are obviously going to have another high draft pick I can although brissett screwed that up a little yesterday so we cannot afford to strike out again they did this with Jones now they did it with maye I get it they think every white quarterback is going to be Brady but that's not the case look no further than in Chicago and Washington those two guys look miles ahead of maye

What QBs in upcoming draft are expected to be better than Drake Maye? Also, I wonder why you tagged CJ Stroud as being mobile and Drake May not mobile. The opposite is true. In the limited game action Maye has been better than Brissett already. It seems like you are basing this on possibly a weird fetish you have with a certain "type" of QB and/or only basing it on wins and losses when everyone knows this team stinks. It's bizarre to be on a Drake Maye can't play island right now.

Not for nothing, but... you realize Drake Maye led his team in rushing his sophomore year at North Carolina, right?
And CJ Stroud ran for like 150 yards in his entire collegiate career.
There are none.
Not a single QB in this draft class would be selected ahead of Drake Maye. Not Shadeur Sanders, not Cam Ward, not Quinn Ewers or Carson Beck.
None of them.
“He’s isn’t mobile” he says about the guy with more rushing yards than passing yards yesterday, including a 20 yard rushing touchdown.

I like how you said something objectively wrong about Maye (and Stroud) and you're simply ignoring people pointing that out now.
I would be concerned if Maye was looking jittery in pocket and looking to run for no reason. I don't see that at all so far. I think his pocket presence and movement has been pretty good.

I mean, I'm not Eliot Wolf, but my guess is his thinking went something like this:
Quarterback is the most important position in football.
We don't have a good, young quarterback.
Drake Maye is a good, young quarterback.
We're in a position where we can draft Drake Maye.
We probably shouldn't overthink this and decide to get cute.
On the topic of mobile QBs, boy you/those Anthony Richardson people taking the biggest of Ls. Guy is a complete bust and exactly why you don't draft a QB because he can throw a football very far and is fast.
Give Maye some decent WR's and 4-5 seconds of protection time and see what he can do.

Guy is always a thorn in the Patriots' side, but he's really, really good. Too bad - he was about to cash in as a free agent, as well.

That whole station has gone out of their way lately to just be anti Belichick. Not a big surprise being the flag ship station of the Patriots.
Dude was poised to put up some numbers. Probably was gonna rush for 100 yards which is impressive given his lack of CJ Stroud-like mobility
