Its that stupid September callup restriction now. Keith Hernandez joked how he wished they had it in the 80s. Even recently some players complained about the fact having all those kids called up would be a distraction in a pennant race

Very flat game so far. Everyone mentally drained from the 1st game. Dangerous for Braves the longer it stays close. Can Iglesias even pitch in this one? He pitched Fri, Sat and this afternoon.

I was thinking Braves better pull away because you'd think unless Mets are truly not trying they might start seeing Holmes better if they go through lineup again

Nah, that one run is plenty considering the Mets can't even get on base.

Apparently Lee is amazing with inherited runners on base when he comes in. Hasn't given up a inherited run since May 4th.

Arizona also lost 2 of 3 to Colorado a couple of weeks ago, 2 of 3 at home to SF, blew an 8-0 lead in Milwaukee and lost. They made their bed.

Sorry if I missed it already or haven't paid attention, but would a Mets loss at all affect who they face in the Wild Card? If so, that may be incentive to have a more "normal" looking lineup playing.

If they lose, they face the Brewers.
