Just want to say MLB's "anti-tanking" rule is f***ing stupid and it sucks the A's and White Sox are gonna be penalized for actually being ass.

We'll be the same way next year too, gonna get the 10th pick in 2026 draft because Kris Bryant is leading us to a 58-104 record in 2025.

Because its really hard to to tank. Like what the White Sux are doing now I don't know if I've ever seen. Baseball is so random that trying to suck still leads to wins. I mean the Marlins are running a $14.7million payroll for the entire 26 man roster and have still won 15 more games than the White Sux.

the Marlins did have an opening day payroll of 97 million

it's hilarious how MLB instituted their bullshit little lottery at the exact same time that the A's actually started tanking for the first time ever

but at the same time, i'm glad the A's have fallen in the lottery every year as to not reward fisher for his blatant sabotaging of the team

As it turns out, people like to watch teams suck at historical levels as much as they like to watch good teams. Smart of FOX to capitalize on that.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but didn't FOX do the same thing in 2008 when the Lions were a game out from 0-16? Pretty sure that game got moved to national as well.
