And don't forget re-signing Brantley to a 1 year deal. He was hurt and barely played.

But back to Montero, apparently they're hoping he'll accept his assignment to get fixed but he's thinking it over with his family. The coaching staff felt he became to predictable. Deciding to throw a sinker in spots where a secondary or breaking pitch would have been better. Now if you're Montero and the sinker wasn't working, why not try what the catcher is calling???

Looks like Houston is going to lose, Texas scored 7 straight vs Boston to take the lead, Royals in a back-and-forth extra inning game with Detroit and the Twins are clinging to a 1 run lead against the White Sox.

The ump was terrible. He was giving the Mariners pitchers strikes outside which is fine but wasnt to the Phillies. They should have been out of the inning on that 1-2 pitch it was completely in the zone. Then two other pitches that at bat were strikes for Mariners pitching. Rob umps in the future please.

The Phillies cant do anything right currently, even with a 5 run lead they blow it.

Multiple reports saying that Lance McCullers won't pitch this year. Least surprising bit of news ever. I find it funny that people were still holding out hope that he would. The guy is a tattered bag of broken glass held together by scotch tape. I don't think that there is a more jury prone player in the league then him. When he is healthy and his breaking ball is on then he is a wonderful 3rd option in the rotation but he never is.
