He knew he was going, so he made sure to win the game and screw the Pats draft pick.

Diabolical.

GOODBYE. He wasn't ready to be a HC.

Take AVP and Covington too.

Yeah they’re still gonna be on the board because they’re good not great.

Nobody is great in this draft. I think Hunter is probably the best player, but which position is he playing in the NFL, he won't play both. If you look at him as a WR, he'd probably have been the 3rd or 4th WR drafted if he were in last years draft

I think he will play both, WR full time and CB part time

They shouldn’t be picking Will Campbell or Kelvin Banks at 4, there are much better prospects. Would rather Abdul Carter

They need to avoid doing the same thing they just did with Mayo, interview as many candidates as possible even if Vrabel is the "guy".

They cannot swing and miss twice.
Problem is they have to do a token interview before they can hire Vrabel thanks to NFL rules. Better get a quick turnaround on that.

I honestly don't see how this is any different with the hiring of Mayo. If they're firing Mayo just to hire Vrabel without any sort of interview from other candidates, I don't understand it. Hopefully they have at least 3-4 on the board to look at.

Like Zolak said earlier, you do not move on from Mayo unless you know that you have someone like Vrabel in your back pocket.

I definitely want them to conduct an actual search but Vrabel has at least been the head coach of successful football teams before and the best qb he had to work with was Ryan Tannehill

Vrabel is a proven commodity at least. Got some really good results out of a relatively blah Titans roster and fell on the sword for his moron GM mangling it even further.

He does have ties to the org from his playing days so it's a sort of but actually not really a nepo hire. Definitely understand the hesitation from Pats fans.
