Patriots/NFL 2024 Regular Season: Part II - If the NFL season ended today, the Patriots would have the No. 6 pick in the draft

I find it hard to believe Thornton or Osborne couldn't fetch a 6th or 7th.

Then again, DHop went for a 6th. Which is wild to me.
If those guys couldn't see the field for us why would another team bring them in? Both will be fighting to make someone else's 53 man next summer.

Whiffing on our second rounder with Polk seriously hurts. Free agents don't want to play here as well.

Wonder why the KC to go 18-0 talk hasn't been louder.

So dumb not going for 2 points v Tennessee

Assuming they get it and with how tired TN D was and Maye improvisation ability I’m giving them the win

The Seattle & Dolphins game they led in 4th and had no right losing

SF, Jets, & Jags (even though up 10) they got their dominated

I guess I’m being Mr Sunshine (yes yes I been called it since childhood and my daughter has shared it with many here, so I’m coming out of the closet)

Patriots way ahead than expected

Btw- I only heard them say it but Joe Murray said no one was calling in after win on post game but they lose and lines are full with angry people

I heard one caller on WEEI and it was a guy coming home with family from a 1 year old birthday party and he said he only called because he had taped the game was going home to watch it all excited and he heard an angry caller calling up to rant he wants Mayo fired.

I’m a Mayo guy, I don’t agree with everything just like everyone here I sure as hell don’t agree with everything and I’m sure it’s reciprocated but I don’t like anyone less.

It’s a bummer they probably aren’t picking top 5 but I’d rather win and find out who the battlers are and who’s quitting and a ‘me’ guy

Maye is real deal ~ personality down to player

Team Guy and tough

Excited

Pats are doing too well now with the rookie QB. A team that would be obliterated in playoffs and needs another franchise player (or three) from early drafts.

The excuse making for the Bears was a joke

Caleb Williams
WR DJ Moore
WR Rome Odunze
WR Keenan Allen
TE Cole Kmet
RB D’Andre Swift

This is so superior to the Patriots it’s absurd

If you have those 6 to the Patriots it would be like hitting the sports lottery

Their D was top 5 and they had won 8 in a row at home

To hear Belichick today on Pat McAfee show give the Patriots zero credit - and act like the Bears are a first year expansion team.

And can people stop bitching about Van Pelt. Maye is being developed. Caleb Williams looks like he was broken yesterday.

Pats at 6

7 games left

Best chances of a win
1. Rams here
2. Colts here
3. Chargers here
4. Buffalo last game of season 1/5 depends on is Buffalo secure - game here
5. Miami - away
6. Arizona - away
7. Buffalo - away

Over under 1.5 I take over at 2.5 probably under

They likely aren’t quitting and Barmore coming back

Barring QB injuries, I think Colts is the only game I'd give them better than 40% chance of winning. I think 2 wins is a reasonable guess, just because you assume they'll win at least one that they probably don't deserve. Anything more would mean Maye's taken a pretty big step.

Very sad

I get it’s part of the game but geez 10 games in

Feel for the guy

Agreed, however that offense had high expectations. 1st overall pick at QB, three legitimate weapons at WR. Erratic offense this season. Either way this isn’t good for Caleb Williams. A new OC will want to implement his offense. A young QB needs stability.

I’m glad the Pats ended up with Maye in their laps. I don’t doubt for a second had they had 1st overall pick they’d chosen Williams too.
