Patriots keep flip flopping between Mayo being on the hot seat or not.
Don’t believe it - Belichick left him garbage and it’s been 9 months

The Boston media 80% said Msye was going to suck had lousy footwork now it’s this

They are mostly a bunch of whiney bitches looking for clickbait

Bill left them with an offseason of a shitload of money and hired a inept GM and a head coach who never called defensive plays.

And they are now worse than last year

I agree that, overall, the media has been pro-Maye. But there was definitely a two week period in the summer where we were bludgeoned with, “hitch in his throw….bad feet…can’t run a huddle….unnamed source says he may be a bust”. The usual suspects pitched it hard.

Maye is a tremendous prospect, and his potential is sky high.

There are people in New England - both in the media and the unwashed masses - that seem to revel in misery and failure. Losers like that aren’t happy unless everyone else is miserable.

Fu*k ‘em in the liver.

You watch a game like Buffalo vs. KC and remember when that used to be New England and Indianapolis, and it drives home the point of how far the Patriots are removed from being one of "those teams".

Can I see them being in the mix for a wild card next season? Sure.

But they're a long ways away from being a legitimate contender.

I also got to thinking, assuming Maye is "the guy", how many franchises have "the guy" and how many are currently searching?

It feels like a lot of the teams that have drafted their future at QB the past couple of seasons have connected.

I haven't watched NFL football 🏈 on a regular basis in many years for several reasons.

Well remember when the Patriots were a bad if occasionaly amusing joke owned & operatod by the Sullivan clan.

New England "sports enthusiasts" have enjoyed rather the lucky run going on nearly 25 years now.

The Pats became an improbable dynasty.

I can live with a terrible team struggling to find a new identity and reestablish its legitimacy.

An interesting story from afar.

Rebuilds can be entertaining for a casual football fan 🪭 like me,

Hell baby
What if they drafted Jeanty? Sign some OLs and WRs
Only way I’m interested in Jeanty is if they get the 2nd pick and trade down for a haul of picks

Not keen on 1st round RB but in terms of making Maye’s life easier and improving the offense it would help. He’s a unique talent.
