Hell baby
After seeing them all play this year I think we got the best QB in the draft

I still think highly of Daniels and Williams. I’m higher on Nix now than I was, he looks like a legit starter. Penix looked good in his first game. Even Rattler looks functional. We’ll see what happens with JJ McCarthy but this was perhaps an all-time great QB class.

Williams has internal clock issues but I think that will be fine tuned in time- it’s hard to get better at it with this play calling and offensive line though. That’s what makes Maye so special- he is playing good football and developing despite going through the same thing. Honestly think he has a chance to be the best QB in football in his prime.

Article on NESN how Keion White isnt happy with how they are playing him out of position
Heard that on the radio this morning. “We’ll see where things go after this season”.

Agreed on all points. I think Maye & Daniels will be a notch above Caleb Williams. I also didn’t think much of Nix but he looks like he is capable of running an offense.

Maye appears to have that special gene.

The Keion White thing really should be the thing that gets the entire operation canned after the season.

Not because of who the player is, but because it shows that the one thing that Mayo defenders keep point to, is that he hasn't lost the room. I think he has, and have said as much for a month+, but player were being pros. Now that the year is winding down, it's going to start to leak out.

I never root for losses, but I hope they get blown out tomorrow, with McConkey having a monster game, and then somehow losing to the Bills B and C squad with nothing to play for..

It's evident this team is going to spin it's wheels for years if they keep Wolf, Mayo and Co. His signature win was week 1, and frankly it was more about Cincy being bad than anything NE really did.

I agree with you, but I just don’t see the Pats cutting Mayo loose after 1yr no matter how bad they are these last 2 games. Kraft’s ego won’t let him.

This is gonna be another Matt Eberflus/Brandon Staley situation where he’ll be kept around for half season + too long until the embarrassment of hiring him is finally overshadowed by the embarrassment of the performance on the field. Maye alone is gonna buy him at least 1 more year.

Then when they finally DO fire him, after another crap draft, where only their high #1 pick hits, they’ll realize that the front office is just as bad, and get a new GM/DPP. That guy will want to hire his own coach….rinse, wash repeat.

I figure it’ll be 2-4yrs ish before they finally sort all this out…But at LEAST they have the QB situation figured out.

And by that point, Maye won't be on the cheap rookie QB deal anymore, which is the most valuable thing in the game.

I can't believe I'm abou to say this given how much I've trashed him, but Jonathan needs to take the reigns here, and get his dad to swallow his pride and make him realize the entire operation is f***ed.

Across sports no coach has ever immediately followed a legend and been successful. You want to follow the guy that followed the guy.

I think Robert has too much at stake with his legacy to be that deeply invested in the current staff. He's also good at hiring coaches or was Parcells Kraft Belichick is an amazing run.

I think he's ready to make a hire that has absolutely zero relation to Bill Belichick.

Then do that.

But bringing back half the staff from Bill was never going to work

Cracks me up listening to these media guys who were screaming for Marvin Harrison jr & Joe Alt at 3 screaming for Eliot Wolf fired now

And bitching he couldn’t get anyone to want to live in North Atteleboro

Hilarious

They just forget what they said

Watching Gonzo completely shut Harrison down a couple weeks ago was glorious

In re: to Keion White he needs to get better at his job to start talking like that. He looked like he was breaking out but has been completely underwhelming in the 2nd half of the season

He went rogue- was supposed to set edge and funnel runner inside but apparently decided your not going to get sacks or paid that way and went after the QB got abused and led to big gain

Not good

That generally holds true. George Siefert is the big exception, and largely forgotten about despite winning two Superbowls

I've been screaming to not let Maye get concussed the last few weeks and sit him the Buffalo games and this one. Unreal total ducking morons this staff.
