McMillan is amazing holy shit that catch. We need to tank out and get him. If Drake wins another game it's Jacoby time.
Ah yeah what a great message to send.

The whole rest of this season should be showcasing Maye to attract FA WRs, not tanking to maybe get one in the draft

Let's say O/U on Polks release is 2 years or rather is he on our roster 24 months to this day. What are you taking?

Maye didn't start week 1 for a reason and he shouldn't play Buffalo twice or the Chargers after we've been eliminated for the same reason.

You also gotta protect him from an ugly blowout that will turn off free agents.

Do you think he's good at protecting himself and not getting hit? I don't. I think he's great at everything else.

I'm taking him over anyone that isnt Allen Mahomes or Lamar.

Burrow has the best WR in the league and his team still sucks and Herbert is a serial choker those are the best comps.

Another brilliant reach by the genius, Bill. Next stop Cole Strange...
And Wolf/Groh. They've been a part (debatable to what degree) of this long stretch of hideous drafting and are now steering the ship in Foxboro. Scary.

BUT HES FAST!!!!!!

Bethel Johnson with no hands. Kid can't run a route to save his life. Great pick Bill.
No side to side quickness despite straight line speed and you should be fast when your the skinniest dude in the league. Don't think he ever caught a contested deep pass either.

Bad things will happen if we ask Maye to drag this sack of shit team to 6-7 wins just look what making the playoffs as a rookie did to Mac.

No o-line. No receivers.

Thank Bill

Halftime at the Grey Cup on CBSSN, Winnipeg leading Toronto 10-9. Should I root for Toronto? Will an Argos victory guarantee another twenty years without a Stanley Cup in Hogtown?

No. The Patriots need offensive line help and desperately to protect Maye so he doesn't turn into Tua Tagovailoa. Getting a left tackle should be priority number one for this team so that this kid isn't chewed up and spat out within five years.

Draft OT sign a WR
The more I look into the draft class, the less thrilled I am with the Pats' options.

If the Pats pick 6th overall, Travis Hunter is likely gone. It's possible, but not likely that Tetairoa McMillan is still around. Will Campbell and Kelvin Banks are both likely guards in the NFL.

I'm just... underwhelmed by the OT and WR options that high in the draft.

Yep. If I'm NE I'm drafting best player available based on projections as an NFL starter (with the exception of QB). That team has way too many holes on the roster than to be reaching to fill a specific position. Take the best projected starters available and fill the rest in free agency. This team isn't going to be fixed overnight.

Given their track record, I wouldn't try to get too cute and trade down either, unless somebody is looking to significantly over-pay to move up. Hold your spots, identify your players for each spot and then go and get them.
