I was rooting for win but in end could have knocked them in the 10-12 spot of draft from 4th

Would have been disaster

They can still win another game though they got 3 losses they basically screwed up last 5 minutes or less

The thing that sucks is the Raiders, Panthers and Jets all should have won this week. Would have moved the Pats up a pick and gave the other two teams a 4th win. Could use that buffer as I feel like the Pats are gonna win another game this year. I prefer they play well but just lose out this year.

After all the ticky tack holds they called against us they didn’t call this…unf***ingbelievable. This may be the worst hold I’ve ever seen, called or uncalled. HE f***IN SCHOOLBOYED HIM

That was such one-sided officiating

Between that awful spot on Maye’s run, the uncalled facemask, the uncalled helmet to helmet hit, the uncalled sunset flip Powerbomb, the Alex Austin PI where Pittman pushed off first, and the ticky tack holds I wouldn’t be surprised if the officials are gambling. You can write off some of them as incompetence but all of them? am I supposed to believe these officials are worse than the replacement refs were?

Draft position only matters when you have a front office that knows how to take advantage of it.....

It worked out last draft when they landed at 3 and were gifted Maye. As it stands now they would draft at #4 behind Jacksonville Vegas & NYG. Have to think Sanders Hunter are gone by 4. If I had to guess I’d say Travis Hunter to Jacksonville, Sanders to Vegas as they need a QB. NYG at 3, they need a QB.

Pats may have options like Will Johnson, Will Campbell, Mason Graham or maybe they take McMillan and give Maye a big WR. There’ll be some tackles available on day 2

Being reduced to rooting for loses for a better pick is loserville

Winning cultures are hard to build, F losing
High Draft picks and about 139 million in cap space can help expedite it. Sign Tee Higgins and O Line help. Can go best available in the draft or even trade back a bit and grab a future first or two. Hopefully Drake Maybe is gaining fans n the free agent class. Hard to build overnight but they are in a great position for a good jump start.

Yeah, #4 is lining up nicely for McMillan or Jeanty

Agreed. Such a loser mentality. People cheering for a higher draft pick are so cringy

Its not rooting for a loss, its the fact of what they set as their goal for the season. they had $100m in cap space and the #3 pick last offseason. they only spent $50m of that space and brought back existing guys from a 4 win team.

Will Campbell and Kelvin Banks are not looking like the surefire tackles that they were projected to be coming into the year.

I’m really hoping that this front office sees that there are holes all over this roster and takes BPA. Don’t just take a tackle just for the sake of it. WR is just as big of a weakness and Tet McMillan should be the pick.

Not convinced McMillan's the pick, but I don't think I'd take Campbell or Banks in the Top 5.

IDK --- there's something to be said for playing the hand you're dealt.

I didn't come into this season hoping for a lottery pick --- but would winning their last 4 games, and putting them at 7-10 serve any purpose at all?

Drake May is going to get roughly the same number of reps, win or lose.

The guys who aren't good enough to be on next year's team, hopefully won't.

In the end talent wins and even though drafting isn't an exact science, I'd much rather suffer through a few more losses and get a top 5/7 player, than see them win a few meaningless games, and pick in the 10-12 range.

The purpose of trying to win every game is to find out who on your roster is worth keeping as you head into the post season. Finding out who is going to fight for a job, and figuring out who's gonna compete and who's gonna quit is a lot more important than whether you pick 4th or 14th.

I'll use Carolina as a good example.....They've got nothing to play for, but the last 4 weeks those guys competed. I respect that. The Bears actually competed pretty hard as well over the past 3 weeks against some pretty good teams. They finally realized that they had a bumblef*** for an Offensive Coordinator and Head Coach, and addressed it.

Pats should have won that game yesterday. The fact that they didn't, isn't a good thing.

From what I’ve read Campbell is better suited as guard in pros. That’s not worthy of a #4 pick imo. Agreed that BPA is the way to go

Nothing is guaranteed regardless of the money or picks. Play to win no for draft picks, They can rebuild faster by signing free agents that want to come here to win.

Worst sport in the world when you are losing every week getting your body destroyed for what?

Winning brings talent in FA, trust in a coaching staff brings FA

Patriots are in a rebuild. We are being realistic here with the path that's ahead of them to get good again and that is going to take time and unfortunately, losses.
