The NFL is currently being sued for racial discrimination. Minority coaches claim they are being fired at a faster rate. Mayo & Pierce in Vegas on hot seat after one season. Baby Huey Davis isn't independently wealthy. His wealth is 100% the team, so unless he's going to sell he's limited on what he can spend. And how many head coaches is he really going to pay at once? I believe they are currently at 3 with Gruden and Daniels still on the books through 2027.

I see Deion steering his kid to NYG or Vegas. With him as HC. Agree if it’s Deion & Jr Davis may fire Pierce.
I think it’s more important to Kraft to get into HOF than to shift this teams gear. If keeping Mayo increases his standing with Goodell, I think he’d keep things status quo, maybe fire AVP. Kraft is about Kraft first and foremost.

Agreed, no way Kraft cleans house and hires a completely new front office and coaching staff.
Even Bob Kraft has to realize that unless significant changes are made, there will be backlash from the media and the fans unlike anything he has seen as the owner of the Patriots. Are the Krafts ready to endure that shitstorm for another entire season? The rage after last Saturday will seem like nothing if they bring this operation back for another bite at the apple next year.
If the Krafts want to stay relevant in New England, nevermind the NFL, they have to make changes. And they’re going to spend money to do it. They can spend now, or they can spend later. John Henry’s Red Sox and Jeremy Jacobs’ Bruins can be cheap and get away with it because the spotlight on MLB and the NHL combined isn’t what the NFL is. MLB isn’t as relevant as it used to be, and the Red Sox can fly under the radar in the summertime. They’ve become summertime background noise. The NHL is a niche sport and if Jacobs is cheap with the Bruins, most of Boston doesn’t notice. This isn’t like the early ‘90s where the Patriots were an afterthought. They are THE number one sports franchise in New England by far, and they’ll be pilloried RELENTLESSLY in the media and by the fans until they get back on track. And the Krafts, especially Bob, don’t have the stomach for that.

Kraft needs to relinquish control of the team, there’s no chance he’s equipped to dig himself out of the hole he himself dug . This dysfunctional mess starts with the krafts and has leaked its way down to the basement. The Head frigging coach is sniping his OC during press conferences! Mayo clearly not a character guy, but not surprising based on being hired by ole rub-n-tug himself.
