Beyond the big 4

Four players you don’t deal unless you are getting a stud non rental

1. Justin Gonzales 1B
2. Yoeilin Cespedes 2B
3. Franklin Arias SS
4. Miguel Bleis OF

The Sox evaluators are ripping it up they gotta start hitting on pitching

Drafting 14 of 20 is a start but need arms

Keeping Cora is the biggest and most surprising news to me (I thought him being gone was somewhat of a foregone conclusion). He can definitely lead a young and upcoming Sox team, I have zero doubts about that.

Now it's going to be interesting what kind of GM Breslow is. 5 days left. I wish he'd do a mix of buying and selling, but preferably the latter.

the cora deal is 10/10 - i want them to buy but id even accept selling at this point if it means keeping cora around.

no one is perfect but i love how he coaches to win games and series all thru the season. 162 can be a slog but dedication to winning/effort keeps the team and the fanbase involved. great job bres

I’ve certainly been critical of Cora at times but can’t argue with the job he’s done this year. It’s probably his best season managing- young players are emerging under him and they’re ahead of expectations. I like keeping the continuity with this group. Things will remain stable and we will continue to add to this young core at the big league level

You have to admit it is objectively funny that the manager got a (well deserved, admittedly) contract extension on a day when the Red Sox lost 20-7 to one of the most putrid franchises in North American sports.

We need to find a trade partner that needs a 2b, have a log jam in the minors right now with Yorke/ Campbell and Cespedes.
OF is also a great strength of the team, especially if we can resign O'Neill.
The Dodgers are always great at developing pitchers make the call CB.
