Yup. Casas apparently told him he could play the field but he’d need somebody to hit for him in the next AB. But Cora said he wasn’t doing well and they’re getting tests done

I'm with you.

I dont want to see Dalbec taking the reigns. I'd try Belt. The season is early enough to make sure Casas doesn't get injured further. Same with Devers. Rest.

I just hope Casas isn't hurt too badly. I'd put Raffy on the IL too just to heal if I was Cora. No risk in doing it now.

After doing some research I found some interesting numbers for Dalbec. I’m the 12 games that he has played the field the Sox are 8-4 with 7 errors with 2 of them happening before he came in. In the 9 games without him on the field to include his 1 DH game they are 4-5 with 12 errors. Now obviously he isn’t the reason for better defense but the numbers are interesting.
