I don't think the Q Cup helped build a consensus on who the 1st is going to be either.

I agree Lawrence if he will report but that's a big if.

Lawrence if he reports.

If not, no consensus at all... Maybe 10 different guys from Quebec could go first.

Tynan Lawrence?

It's a shame because several players refused to come to Cape Breton over the years. Nicolas Roy for instance. I believe Shane Bowers also refused to report back in the day as well.

It's a shame too, because the Cape Breton Eagles are a very good team as it stands and I believe next year they could be even better. Especially if whoever they draft at 1st overall agrees to show up this time around.

The arena Centre 200 is a nice arena and the fans have the place jumping during playoff games. Hopefully everything works out well for them.

I don't think you should come to the conclusion that Lawrence to Cape Breton is impossible just yet. Just from what I've heard at the QMJHL Cup at least. We will see what he does, I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't report anywhere either.

Elliot Deslisle...

Who said there is no size and the forwards ? Pure goal scorer, a grinder, etc...a lot of potential that kid.

5'10'' 190 pounds...

27 goals in 30 games in regular season...will he be the first U17AAA drafted ?
