ELIGIBILITY: All players whose rights are held by the Buffalo Sabres and who are eligible to win the Calder Trophy for the 2024-25 season are eligible inclusion. That means a prospect is eligible if--

• He is under age 26 (as of September 15, 2024);
• He has played no more than 25 games in any single preceding season; and
• He has not played 6 or more games in each of any two or more preceding seasons.

Topias could have a big year and be right into the top prospect mix. It wouldn't be a huge surprise considering the lackluster couple of years but sometimes guys just flip a switch and I think he could be getting confidence back from being injured.

And with the double hip surgery he had, it takes a couple of years for goalies to get back to how they were before it.

I know but just speaking my truth lol. Hes deserving of an NHL contract and could carve out a taylor fedun like existence if given the opportunity which is more than i can say about the rest of the prospects we can add. Imo
