I feel that Ignatijew is a find and most likely will be the Wranglers #1 this year. The kid is good. Spots the puck well. Stays on his feet for the most part, covers the posts well, good glove.

Honzek showed a lot of progress imo. He was faster, and more physical. I don’t think he’ll ever be more than a 3rd liner but I think we should be encouraged that he showed a lot better than he did last year.

I still believe that Honzek very much has top six upside - but maybe not as high as I initially had hoped. I think his biggest hurdle will be on the mental side of the game. He needs to realize that he has the size, skill, smarts and speed to be a consistently impactful player in all areas on the ice.

An Alex Tuch type trajectory still seems attainable, and that would be a great outcome.
