Two good veteran arms. Kikuchi had solid years in NPB and now has finally found his stride in MLB while Flaherty is a big right hander that throws heat that the Red Sox should have gotten back when he was available in St. Louis. Doubt the Red Sox break the bank to get either one if the market becomes too contested for their services though.

If they shop at the top of the FA market for a pitcher I think Fried is the best fit. Friends with Giolito but more importantly he’s a lefty

We need a lefty, number one starter.
Snell and Fried are at the top of my list and throw an offer to Walker Buehler as well, he was lights out in the playoffs.
Move one of our starters to the pen, once we make a significant add.
Our BP has the potential to be much improved IF Whitlock and Hendricks are healthy.
