This is true and if they played most games the way they did this one I would not hate them.

The amount of Barkov talk in the media was surprisingly small for what the votes turned out to be. It was always McDavid or Bobrovsky.

Jim Matheson is an Edmonton guy, IIRC. He also voted for three Oilers. He'll get some criticism.

Jim Matheson is an Edmonton guy, IIRC. He also voted for three Oilers. He'll get some criticism.

Barkov talk picked up significantly in the finals but Florida had a lot of guys stepping up splitting their votes in different parts of the run, Forsling imo was their best player through the first 2 series, Barkov for the last 2 and Bob pretty much would've had 1st or 2nd it if not for those disaster games against Edmonton that allowed McDavid to break the assist record.
