Curran on NBC Sports Boston said that the Patriots describe "the bag" as three 1sts and a player.
3 firsts + Addison or 4 first round picks would have to be the price to not roll the dice on Maye's potential. At least then you can fill your qb, lt and wr needs before even leaving the first round and double dip in the first next draft if you get an offer like that.

Don't think Minnesota will offer that though. Feels like they want their qb without having to pay the premium + price it will take to buy out another qb needy team.
That would be unrealistic. 49ers paid "2500 points" in 2021, but they are a much better team than Vikings. So, I'd say it would take something like 11th, 23rd, 2025 2nd and 3rd (give or take, 2500 ~ 2600).
I don't think the trade value chart holds as much meaning when it comes to huge trade ups for a qb. You also add a premium of buying a team out that will choose the qb you want if you don't give them the price they are looking for.

My proposal would be 15 ~ 20% over trade value chart, so it's already a big overpayment. As I said, four first round picks is unrealistic.

Drake Maye -2500 to be drafted third overall baby!

Was about to celebrate then remembered that could mean they traded the pick.

Look, I get it. I really do. The math says Maye is at best a 50/50 proposition to be a really good QB in the NFL. But I think his skill set, age, and on-field performance in college is absolutely worth the risk he never pans out. You just need to take your best shot at the most important position in sports and he's the best shot they can take. If he ends up as a bust I'll never fault them for it.

I should have placed A bet when he was -200 earlier today.

I’ll be very disappointed if they stand pat.

Unless they take MH2.

I mean if what Curran said is true and they wanted 3 first round picks + a player then four firsts will be a similar value. Is it an unreasonable ask? Maybe, but nothing wrong with wanting an unreasonable amount to let another team jump you in line to fill the qb need both teams have
