Definitely opens up the door. Ironically it also creates a great reason to keep Bo and pair him with Walker to maximize his value of being on his proper hand. Will be interesting to see what plays out.

The only time we have spent a 1st in panic is when we got Kuemper in during the summer after being short stiffed with Grubie and the goalie market. It has to be RyJo going the other way. Has to be.

He’s a guy who do what you can to free up the cap to keep him after this year unless his demands are unreasonable. Unlike Manson he is a top 4 RD through the rest of the team’s window and on the right side of 30. Balances the D so much better than having G or Bo play their off side

Yeah and I think he ages fairly well. I would not mind him on a mid 4s 3-5 year deal.

If the Avs are giving up a 1st for Walker I gotta believe they have confidence in an extension and are looking to move someone else out for a center. But that's just the NHL 24 EA in me,.
