No. We would’ve been accepting of Allen if RyJo was going the other way.

Taking him now is bad specifically because of his contract.
Montreal (or someone else) would obviously retain 50% for this to make sense.

Juicy's been groomed by the organisation for a while. I don't see us giving up on that for a rental backup, especially when he's suddenly started showing promise at the NHL level. Fleury is old (and notoriously terrible in the playoffs), the guy Elvis from Columbus seems to be lucky to still be in the league at all and the less we have to deal with Montreal, the better. If we can win a cup with Polyphemus and Chocolate Hips we can win a cup with Fourgiev.

There's too much smoke around Annunen, he must be gone. Sad if true as he seemed like a great dude, but up until his 2 shutouts against CHI very few considered him NHL calibre, and certainly not starter calibre.

Why? He's expensive, signed for several more years and at the same caliber of unreliability as Georgie.
How much cap space left ? Well if they retain, I like Elvis. I think he is a lot better than he has shown the last few years and would do well on the Avs and with a change of scenery

I think he's better than Georgiev
