I guess Greentree’s skating is seen as a huge red flag, even more ”proof” of teams prefering safer picks in this draft imho
Skating's an issue, but I wouldn't say he has huge bust potential. He is a big winger that uses his size too.

But I would say this is the draft mentality in general. Not specific to this draft.

I thought Chernyshov would fall a little bit cause Russian bias. But surprised he's a day 2 guy. And for Surin and Gridin to be picked over him. Specifically as other lower ranked Russians.

LOL a first round pick in 25 or 26 for a player ranked mid-2nd round with the very last pick of the first round in a fairly weak draft is pretty funny.
I thought they were going best goalie available, which might have made sense considering where their next pick is. But I guess they could use a wing in a few years.
