It would be hilarious, if we land the 7th pick this year, and a top RD is available: Kiviharju or Levshunov, and instead we draft Lindstrom. I'm ready for it.

Skimming through this is list and profile, there doesn't seen to be a shortage of potential gamebreaking forwards like some imply. Sure, the D class seems far superior to this year's but there still are tons of interesting profiles. Really early obviously.

There's no Bedard type of potential generationnal player but this looks like a really interesting draft. Much better than 2022 at least.

With the 8th overall pick in the 2024 Draft, the Montreal Canadiens select Berkley Catton (C) - Spokane (WHL). Remind me in a year!

I going to try to will myself to cheer for wins this year, knowing full well we're coming nowhere near the playoffs and will probably pick 7-12. Getting pissed at every win is such a drain.

I predict we pick between 8-12th overall next year. Would be shocked if it’s any higher and expect it to be closer to 12 than 8.

I think if we are healthy we may.fight for a wild card spot.

I am gonna cheer the win now because focus should be about growing our young cores. Every pieces are pretty much in place/drafted. (Newhook, Suzuki, Caufield, Dach, Slaf, Guhle, Reinbacher, Hutson... And a few others lesser youngster.) Its time to grow now and build this culture and this winning environment. We may snag a good pick at 13-15 like the Suzuki/Caufield/Guhle.

8-12 seems a logical range.

Teams that will end up lower than us 100%:

Anaheim
Chicago
Philly
SJ
Arizona
Calgary

I think we will be in the mix with:

Pittsburg
St-Louis
Detroit
Washington
Vancouver
Ottawa
Nashville
Winnipeg

Sam Dickenson will go in the top 10. Probably much higher. I think he is a much better prospect than Mailloux.
Big time. He will be a fixture in a teams top 4 for over a decade. Best D prospect of that Knights team.

I wonder if Tanner Howe will drop because Bedard isn't there anymore ?
Like Tanner Howe but he is small without elite talent, he will drop big time. Love the kids motor and physicality though.

My first thought this year when they called Reinbacher's name was Goldenhands called it again. f*** me. First Slaf now Reinbacher. I'm convinced you're an insider for the habs draft team
Yeah and when I was asking him questions about Reinbacher and comparisons to some in the top 5, people started laughing at me. These dudes gonna do a full 180 when they see him regularly
