Eiserman, it seems like he has flattened out a bit development wise. Others are rising and he has stayed pretty much the ‘same’. Not sure what to make of him at the moment to be honest. Offensively he is a scorer but he doesn’t seem to do much else.
Yeah, I've read he's pretty one-dimensional. Great shot and not much else.

I want Catton so bad. I get the upside with Lindstrom and wouldn't be upset at all were we to draft him, but Catton drives play in a way that I just haven't seen from Lindstrom. Lindstrom reminds of PLD (Jets version - big, fast, nice hands, good around the net but need a catalyst on the line to really shine), and that's just a tier lower than I would expect from a top ~3 pick.

We do need size up front really bad though and with Lindstrom's plus skating I wouldn't be surprised if he's our target. I just see Catton as clearly the better player at this point. Him and Bedard can be our Point and Kucherov!!

Before getting tossed out of thec gane for that ajor boardng penalty..Celebrini looked Great..So fast and vision and skilked passing abilities...tge speed to back check...one shift he goescebdctobendvon a rush...conescalk rtexway back to his zone to back-check gets puck again and does a 2nd risgdrom history zone right up the center and past the checkers.. Bedard is slow compared to Celebrini and Celebrini also has a non-stop motor ...very very impressed...but goita cutout unnecessary boarding penalties to the back..I did think he had enough time to stop and not hit the vulnerable Swiss kid whose back was tovCelebrini..Yes the guy turned tp face the bords after Celebrini started moving to make the hit..but he still had enough time to stop or ease up a lot more..
But in the game before he got tossed,Cekebrini was great ..

Definite Center solution for other top line in top 6. andhe looks like he is READY to play in the NHL right now..

Andrew Cristall was better in his draft year than Catton.

I don't know why everyone is this excited over Catton but there was an endless amount of Cristall haters.
No. Just no. Catton is more defensively aware. He has a better compete level and consistency. He's pretty much a one man show in Spokane by necessity. He is a much better skater. Catton is a better skating Benson, with slightly less motor. There is a reason he will go top 10 while your boy dropped to the 2nd round. Take a lap.

Eiserman footage two games

He looks like a play supporter/enhancer rather than a play driver. I was more impressed with the few clips of Cole Hutson than Eiserman.

I'm just not high on Eiserman. Got around to watching him earlier in the week.

He's too one dimensional for my liking.

The shot is good, but you watch him on nights when he doesn't score any goals, and he's a really useless player. He doesn't do anything else. And even regarding his shooting IQ, he forces a lot of shots that never get through.

He's very young for the draft class though. So there's a chance that he really improves by the end of the season. I've seen that happen before with August babies. If he can learn to round out his game, then he could develop into a worthwhile prospect.

I’m getting very excited reading about these potential draft choices. Regardless where things line up we’re gonna have several options.

We’re going to draft potentially #1 overall again, plus what’s looking like somewhere in the #10-15 range too. Plus multiple 2nd rounders in the early 30s.

Then this same time next year we’ll still be bad enough to be looking forward to yet another draft with multiple 1sts(including possibly another lottery pick) and multiple 2nds.

By the time we start the 2025/26 season Bedard will have just turned 20 and we’re going to be absolutely LOADED with young talent to surround him with!! This process has only just begun and it’s gonna take time, but the reward will be worth the wait if we make the right moves.

I am actually agreeing on you with this assessment this year. He seems to think all he has to do is put up points and if that is not an option......the rest of his game is pretty meh.

The dreaded what if scenario=we do not get lucky and win the #1via lotto...so no Celebrini for us.

So
..choose the Big Center sokution =Cayden Lindstrom OR

Choose the RD solution =pp qb and be the top dman activating offense...transitions..and extended o-zome tome..

Both Big Centers with talent and RD wit
H h top 2-5 talent are always coveted by every team in sich draft positions..
So it is a mo braiber to look at drafting pjayersxpmayong these positions if they are rated that highly..

So Hawks need to make a choice ofcwhich position would be a target at #2or#3 or even#4if theycarevon the board should we be draftongbin the 2-5spits...maubevonebof thec2 dmen targetscgeysvto #5
.A wild card is where Demidov goes and howvlongvacteM might now have to wait for hom to get over. But for Hawks purposes hevisvon because we cannot go with 2vsmalker 1-2,Centers..

So if a Cebter thenLindstrom but ifcwe target RD then the choicec s:

Zayne Prekh or Artyom Levsunov..

So the discussion I want to instigate is which would you take if both still onthe boardcand we drafted 3rd or 4th because Lindstrom went off at #2 because that team also covets a Big talented Center and forced us to the RD options available?

Levshunov is bigger and a better 2way player but Parekh has thatceitechigh high ceiling potential to dominate and direct the play...eliteskating...puck control, shot, offensive attack abilities.. Will be a game changer on the PP..Levshunov maybe closer to NHL...maybe plays NHL next year or .justc1cnirecyearxin College... Parekh may take 2-3years more to be
developed physically and maturity -wise...either 2 more seasons in OHL or 3 seasons (2 OHL +1 in AHL ...

So if that were the scenario which one would you take at RD ...Parekh or Levshunov.?

If Hawks do not select at#1or#2 (Celebrini at#1 or Lindstrom at#2) to give is tgevotgerctop six C to Bedard) I have been arguing to then target RD at #3or#4 selection...Parek or Levshunov...BUT SamDickibson has been heating up offensively last 19GP to theboint of his projection numbers go to 20g 44a and given his size and shutdown defenses tgecentirecpackahe may be too goidcto ignore as a BOA at LD even overvour needs at RD..

Imagine anotger Vlasic like shutdown D but with hreayercoffebsivevimoact potential with his shot fro vtgebpojbt..And anitger who skatesxso well but is even more physical..

So maybe despite LD not beibg the greater need (if we plugged in Ethan Del Mastro or Nolan Allan over slug Tinordi for next season, maybe EdM can switchbovervto RD (which he played sone shifts when I Mississauga...not sure if Sarnia also gave him some shifts at RD ) or if Rokford is trying that ..but in any case,if we took Dickinson instead of the RAMEN if we draft after#2; it could also help us with a superb Left side D ...it coukd be Vlasic ,Dickinson DelMastro ...or if DelMastro goes to RD either Phillips moves back to LD or we add RD tgrough free Henry or draft Yakemchuk if there with our TB pick I round one.

I think Dickinson is the best Dman in this draft and I'd rather make room for him than simply draft a RD. I'm still hoping we get an impact forward with our first pick.

The players you DO want to draft is an easy list to make. The players on your DO NOT DRAFT LIST or players you don't want the Hawks to get is tougher.

What 5 players do you guys hope the Hawks don't draft?

Depends on the pick. For the Hawks own 1st round pick the answer is easy for me- Cole Eiserman. Regarding the Tampa pick, not even close to sorting that out.

Yeah Eisermans game needs some work. I wouldn’t take him 2nd
