Give Lauko his shot to maybe play. He wasn't getting that in Boston. I have no problem with the player chosen. Decent size heading to a great program, and the bruins needed to start filling the D prospect pipeline

Interesting that are players are worth nothing. Even a Vezina Trophy goalie is worth a fourth liner. Our young 4 th liner is worth an old AHL player. Very interesting.
Also if they were worried about the cap, perhaps you don’t take on a 3 million dollar goalie who has the worst save percentage in the NHL.
Come on Sweeney you need to do better.

Amazing some teams dumping stiffs for assets and the Bruins couldn't get anything added to Korpisalo.

It’s simply because they wanted him. Sweeney thinks he now has the golden touch and will make Korp an all star. He is banking on himself. Will it workout, time will tell. If it doesn’t he has saddled this team with 3mil contract for 4 years.

This deal had nothing to do with the cap. It was all about moving out a player you had no role for next year, and asked to be traded. I am sure Kuntar could come up and give you whatever Lauko would in a pinch.
