Wouldn't be a bad result for us given the odds. San Jose's roster and prospect pool are pathetic so that's a fair win for them, we can't even be mad we have their Stutzle and their team owner is a German dude who loves promoting hockey in Germany. Plus we wouldn't be moving down.

How Bettman supposed to fix the results if they do that?
I’m okay with these results if they are true, the lotto being won by teams ahead of us so no change in draft position and both western teams so the stakes are way lower is better than all the alternatives other then us winning.

Tanknation and the Hockey Guy have that. Apparently a bunch of other teams have a slim chance at number 3 as well. But I don't understand how.

My guess would be that the team that can only draft 2nd if they win, wins the #1 spot and the Sens win the #2 spot.
