Jamal Adams moves on to the Titans, no one cares.
Aside from Seahawks fans that is, we can begin the healing. Like the player alright, but that was the most damaging trade to the franchise since Max Unger.
Yep. Pete wanted another elite S like thomas/Kam, but that Adams was really a 3-4 LB. Couldn not cover.
If you look at where the picks landed, they gave up the chance at Dillisaw the OT that Minny picked (or if the NYJ don't use the pick to trade up), they might have taken him where Vera-Tucker was selected. Outside of Dillisaw, I didn't think any of the other 1st rounders would be great on Seattle, maybe Newsome the CB to CLE. 2nd round with Holland (S) to Miami and Dickerson (now OG to PHI, but was drafted as a C from Alabama), or Barmore DT to NE, would have been the best use of that pick at 23 in 2021.
2022 - That was the Garrett Wilson pick. They take him there they use 2023 on someone other than JSN or they get aggressive and use the Spoon and JSN picks to move up to #3 AZ to grab Richardson the QB.
So, yes in the end, it was a very bad move for Seattle. Had they made the move at the 2020 draft with the Brooks pick and the 2021 pick, that would not have been as bad.
