I thought the Bills were going to boat race them in the 2nd half but the offense just totally evaporated. Really hated the play calling from Brady in the 3rd. But whatever. Survive and advance.

The Ravens are gonna break through but it's gonna be like the 2018 Caps when it's the year don't expect it at all. Maybe that's the Bills this year too with how some people thought the Jets would win the division (LMAOOOOOO)

Yeah I mean I think Spags eats the Bills gameplan for breakfast lunch and dinner. The flop fest between Allen/Mahomes is gonna be something too

I feel so bad for Andrews. That has to be the worst feeling in the world, having the game in your hands, and literally dropping the ball to let your team down.

Shame, because he played reasonably well otherwise.

Notre Dame is getting worked here after the first drive. Ohio State athletes are just different.
It was just a mismatch from the word go. Physically it looks like a bunch of kids up against pros.

The entire new playoff format has been a disappointment and yielded a huge yawn. In all of these bowl games there may have been one that was actually competitive? Maybe 2? Who wants to watch a bunch of boring blow outs?

The prior set up, where they just voted a final four and they wrapped on New Year’s Day or January 2d resulted in some memorable games. Like OSU Alabama. It was easier for a panel to create at least a competitive game.

The analogy to March madness didn’t work here. Among other things there’s already been so much good pro football the last couple days.

On top of which tonight’s game has to be the most boring and meaningless thing ever.

I think it'll be a rarity that all of the teams who had a bye are out after the first game.

Best team on paper won the whole thing. Kinda funny that they won the title and Michigan fans will still troll them for that win at Ohio State this year.

I'm an Ohio State fan. No way they win a championship if they won the Michigan game - no doubt in my mind. It changed the path of the playoffs and served as the wake up call that got them playing right.

ND went too hard with the QB runs in the first drive imo too - he was gassed, vomiting from the exertion, and I don't think he had enough gas to run his way out of trouble as much as he could have with more conservative calls.

That could apply to ND's run as well, the two teams in the title game were handed the most embarrassing losses all year in College Football with OSU losing to Michigan and ND losing to NIU. And ND's issue was they can't play from behind, offense is too reliant on QB runs and clock management. The first drive was how they should've played the whole game but it just isn't feasible to have 10 min drives on offense every time lol

Jeremiah Smith would be the #1 prospect in this years draft by a decent amount. What a stud. Brian Hartline is an absolute mastermind.

Praying for Bills/Commies, I cannot stand to watch the Chiefs play a gross brand of football again.

I wish the Dolphins would bring in Hartline to be the OC because he is going to be a hot NFL candidate sooner than later. I think he might be waiting to take Day's job at OSU though.

2027 looks like a monster class with Arch Manning, Smith and Ryan Williams (Bama freshman WR that was clowning everyone in the SEC)

I don't think Hartline is staying there for that, Day is probably locked for a while now.

It’s really weird for me to see Manning as a top prospect. I know he’s tremendously talented and born to play thr position but in high school he was playing against regular sized kids almost all the time. His younger brother played lacrosse against my youngest so Arch was around all the time as just support for his brother.

I understand anyone having reservations, but I can't help but be hopeful if he is the hire. It's a good story all around, he has outright stated he's a coach, not just a defensive coach and understands the offense just as much. There's a lot of other pieces to get in place, but if he's the hire, I'm more than happy.

I hope the giants suck again (they will) and get Arch. Ryan Williams is such a freak, he moves like an alien.

Yeah as always the issue with the Jets isn’t so much who they hire (though if it were anyone other than Aaron Glenn - and he actually wants the job - I’d roll my eyes at Woody hiring like his tenth straight ‘D coordinator who’s a first time head coach’), but it’s more about Woody staying the f*** out of the way of Glenn and the GM
