the Ravens pass D is even worse than Detroit's is.

Hyperbole, the Ravens have been getting way better at pass defense the last couple of weeks while the Lions are going in the complete other direction granted they're getting destroyed by injuries but they were legit trotting out the corpse of Jamal Adams out there in 2024 v the MVP of the league. The Ravens also destroyed Buffalo once this year already so I can't see why they can't beat them again, they matchup absurdly well against Buffalo

"Absurdly well" is a stretch. I wouldn't make too much of that game, the Bills were missing their three best defenders Milano, Bernard, and Johnson (both starting LBs). Cooper wasn't there and Coleman hadn't had his breakout yet.

I do think the Ravens matchup against the Bills better than anyone else in the AFC, but it was one game and probably the worst game Brady has called all year. The game would have been much different had they played now and not earlier in the season.

That being said, the Bills can't keep losing all these bodies on defense. S1, S2, and CB2 were all out last week and now it looks like Milano is injured again with a groin. Luckily the D Line finally showed up last week, but still. Luckily the last three games are Pats, Jets, Pats and they have the division locked up, they can afford to go slow and rest some of these guys.

Is Vikings-Bears a rivalry game?

Whos the rival for Falcons?
They are, it’s just not AS long standing as the other NFC North ones between the Bears, Packers and Lions. Nor do they ever seem to both be good at the same time.

Honestly I’d say the Saints and Falcons are probably each other’s rival just because their games are always close and hotly contested.

I meant it more so the Ravens's offense v Buffalo's defense. Totality, it's even on paper because both QB's are virtual aliens playing the sport. It's literally just going to come down to who has a better day between Lamar/Allen if they meet in the playoffs, the defenses aren't going to do anything in that game if I had to bet.

Hmm makes sense, Saintd and Falcons are in the same division.

To me the least interesting NFL teams are:
- Falcons
- Titans
- Saints
- Colts
- One of the LA teams (Chargers shouldve stayed in SD)

Im pretty interested in the other franchises at least on some level but dunno if i would force myself to watch Falcons and Titans on MNF.

My kids would answer it better than him since that rivalry has defined their years of growing up. They can tell you everything about why Sean Payton always beat Atlanta to why Matt Ryan pooped himself in a game.

The Falcons and Saints are heated rivals in recent years but at one time the Saints shared the division with the 49ers and for older Saints fans that would be thr team they most likely want to beat. The other team all Saints fans want to beat are the refs for the 2018 NFC championship game and by beat the other team I mean pummel Bill Vinovich and the rest of that LA based crew (what was the NFL thinking with that?) with heavy clubs and maybe feed them to some wild animals after the beatings.

Atlanta
Saints-Falcons is a rivalry with a level of pettiness most would only dream of. That's the only team I would really say is a rival for Atlanta though. Of all the self-sabotaging Atlanta sports teams, they are definitely the most self sabotaging though. Definitely their own rival.

The Braves have some good rivalries with the Phillies, Mets, and Dodgers at least.

It’s an interesting rivalry with neither team being a league darling or storied franchise.

I hope Notre Dame blows out Indy tonight

That is all.
Complete opposite for me. I like an unexpected team in the postseason, and I'm not Catholic (or even Christian) so I have no reason to have an attachment to ND. Plus my dad went to IU during what was their best season as a team up until this year. He had no school pride (didn't even attend his commencement) but I still have a soft spot for them.

Eagles, 12-2 record

1st Quarter

Eagles lead 7-0

They make a play where Hurts runs the ball

Wild tackle appears and heads collide, shrapnel of Hurts' helmet flying around

Off to concussion protocol and out of the game.

Explain to me, why TF would the Eagles make Hurts run in any of the plays the remainder of the season? They wanna catch Lions and the 1st round bye?

To me just utter stupidity.
