They actually made the playoffs for the first time in years during Snyder's first year and won a game. Albeit it was against a Detroit team who is regarded as one of the worst teams to ever reach the playoffs.

Even though this was the year that Barry Sanders retired on the day before training camp. The fact that team even made the playoffs was kind of a victory.
