So hard to say without knowing more about player health. If Hurts is still too banged up to use his legs next week that makes the Eagles defense a lot easier to handle (still hard with the other tools they have). If he isn’t a running threat I could see the Commanders cheating on Barkley more, and try to force Hurts to make plays, trusting in their secondary that has been looking much better. And how is the Eagles secondary health going to be?

My take is that Jayden Daniels is going to have to pull out some magic to win this one. But he’s shown the ability to do that time and time again this season and hasn’t seemed phased in doing it. I would guess that the Eagles are more likely to win this game for sure, they just have a ton of talent, while Washington isn’t quite there yet. But I wouldn’t put it passed this Commanders team to pull out a win, and if they do manage to go to the Super Bowl what a first chapter Jayden has written for himself in his NFL story.
While Pickett was in for the Washington win in the regular season, Daniels still carved up the high ranked defense of Philly. A tall task to do.

Daniels got that Montana "final drive is mine" thing going on though....

If Philly leaves points on the field and give Daniels a final drive to win the game, probably bet on Daniels to pull it off.

This line seems high. The Commanders have the better QB. I think the Eagles can grind it out with Saquon but it’s not going to be easy. We can stop calling Daniels a rookie at this point. He’s proven special over 19 games. The rookie tag does not apply anymore, especially not to this guy.

Gotta think that line is coming down over the next few days.
John Madden had a thing that once you get to the playoffs, you’ve played an entire season, thus you are no longer a rookie.

Game comes down to the Commies stopping the run without having to commit a bunch of extra guys to the box every play.

Hurts isn't a good QB, but if they have to put 7-8 guys in the box to stop Saquon, he's good enough to throw it sort of near receivers a few times a game to move the sticks.

The Eagles are not a team I'm confident in when it comes to coming from behind, so they need to set the tempo early and often.

If Hurts can do enough to keep them off-balance and not turn the ball over it's going to be a long day for Washington. But that's an IF.

Eagles can't get down 2 scores. They can't abandon the run game with Barkley. So, if they keep it close all the way through (assuming they are trailing), they should be fine to have a shot at the end. Really up to Moore's play calling. He needs to be drilled in this week to not get pass happy. Target to keep Hurts under 25 pass attempts. Wash doesn't have the pass rush that the Rams have. But, even with that, Hurts has to get rid of the ball. Every scoring opportunity will matter. Can't pass up 2 potential FGs like he did vs Rams by taking 8 yard sacks once inside the opposition 35.

No injuries, no trailing.

The Eagles are essentially a talent AI. Remove one of Hurts, AJ Brown, Devonta Smith, or Saquon, and they'll fold. Mainly Hurts, Saquon, or Brown. If not present, they become mortal and lost.

Ehhhh you can say that about almost every team that loses a playmaker?
Mahomes lost Tyreek and is working on his third straight ring. Allen lost Diggs and is in the AFC Championship. No one believes those players were replaced by nearly comparable talents. And it hasn’t mattered at all.

At the same time…Philly has been without some guys at times this year or seen them play obviously hurt…and they’re in the NFC Championship. So they clearly overcome stuff too.

The real story to me is what dropping Daniels into Washington did to them. Holy crap what a rookie
