Birds win as long as Jalen isn't atrocious. Before he got concussed 4 weeks ago they had no answer for he and Saquon running the ball. Nothing has changed.

WFT can't lose lanes against Saquon. He lit them up for two touchdowns in both games they played. He will get his, but don't let him hit home runs. Rams had him bottled up for the most part apart from the long runs.

Eagles proven that no turnovers, #1 defense, and Hurts throwing for less than 200 yards (really 20-25 passes) is a winning formula. He just needs to make the plays that are there for him and not take so many sacks (7 sacks in 27 dropbacks is way too many). You'd obviously like better QB play, and even though maybe his knee is hurt again, it will be needed, but he is not the mealticket he was two years ago. Go out and be who you are, not make critical mistakes, and we'll see if it's good enough.

What's the health of Isaiah Rogers, and more importantly, Quinyon Mitchell? Darius Slay can't be relied on to get through an entire game.

Oh if I’m picking one quarterback, I’m taking Daniels as well. He has bucked the trend on the Eagles since their bye of running them down when they’re ahead. The Rams were hit, WFT’s offense is probably hotter.

They should have the Offence centered around the run game and their OL. Not through their QB.

He’s got to avoid negative plays that costs his team chances to get points. Preserve FG opportunities.

Hurts need to be more young Russ Wilson. Make a couple of key throws and use his legs to get big first downs. Not asking him to throw for 300 yards.

Feels like magic has to run out for Washington at some point and while Hurts is major ? for Eagles, but Barkely is not and they have good D to contain Daniels/Commander offense

Quite the opposite. The Eagles run on talent alone because their creativity on O is zero.

You can inside zone all the time with Saquon and get away with it because he's Saquon.

But the Eagles still have this staleness to them that manifested when they crashed last season.

It is interesting that sometimes an OC/HC/QB and team just fit and work well. When one thing changes it all goes into the gutter. Pedersen with Foles. Hurts with Steichen. Just not the same when Pedersen went back to Wentz or for hurts after Steichen took the Indy job.

Which still could be traced to the sight of Foles winning and the brain damage changing something in Wentz. (Injuries also played a role, but many can adapt to a less able body)

I recall Jermichael Finley drafting up a article documenting his ordeal the years after he got his bell rung. Driving around all the time and really just "not into it".

This line seems high. The Commanders have the better QB. I think the Eagles can grind it out with Saquon but it’s not going to be easy. We can stop calling Daniels a rookie at this point. He’s proven special over 19 games. The rookie tag does not apply anymore, especially not to this guy.

Gotta think that line is coming down over the next few days.

So hard to say without knowing more about player health. If Hurts is still too banged up to use his legs next week that makes the Eagles defense a lot easier to handle (still hard with the other tools they have). If he isn’t a running threat I could see the Commanders cheating on Barkley more, and try to force Hurts to make plays, trusting in their secondary that has been looking much better. And how is the Eagles secondary health going to be?

My take is that Jayden Daniels is going to have to pull out some magic to win this one. But he’s shown the ability to do that time and time again this season and hasn’t seemed phased in doing it. I would guess that the Eagles are more likely to win this game for sure, they just have a ton of talent, while Washington isn’t quite there yet. But I wouldn’t put it passed this Commanders team to pull out a win, and if they do manage to go to the Super Bowl what a first chapter Jayden has written for himself in his NFL story.
