The good ol' 4 pm local time on a Thursday puck drop. Great way to get casuals interested.

It's tough, I attended in 2022 and it was 5pm/8:30pm EST for Boston as well. I ended up leaving the second game after the second period since I was exhausted and didn't have a particular rooting interest between Minnesota/Minnesota State.

Definitely was a weird vibe in the arena. The fans for the second game were late for the first game. And then most of the Michigan/DU fans didn't stick around for the second game.

Probably no way around it unless you had each semifinal on its own day. Or if they moved the semifinal to Saturday with the championship in prime time on the Monday.

I wish it wasn't the case but I don't think the game time would matter as my casual friends would be watching MLB/NHL/NBA over BU/DU. Maybe it's by design but this Thursday is a light day for baseball.

Sounds like Denver is getting Rizzo back. I thought he was on track to be a Hobey finalist based on his play before he got hurt. If he can return to anywhere close to that, then it's a big boost for DU. There won't be any time for rust though.

Lining up to be 3 incredible games regardless of what happens. All 4 teams have a wealth of big game experience throughout the roster.

Keep an eye on Cutter Gauthier on McGroaty and Brinkley tonight. I’m guessing that’ll be the matchup Brown will hone in on with last change. Also will be fun to watch Michigans best in the country PP against BC’s best PK in the country. The Michigan PP is nuts

Denver might've been given a gift on that open ice hit, as Coach Pandolfo jawed at the referee about possible head contact.

Seems like Denver is playing to try not to make a mistake. I don't watch Denver a ton out east so I don't know how much of the 1-2-2 they normally play but it didn't look great that period

Does BU Jack Hughes tell L. Hutson that he will have his father trade him if he doesn’t pass him the puck?
