Well, Bradley is his brother, so it makes sense. Montreal asked first, but when Carolina came calling he followed his brother there. No big loss.

Let's hope that isn't the reaction the first time we watch Demidov skate in North America. If that happens, there will be a lot of Montreal fans jumping off the Jacques Cartier Bridge.
A prospect I look forward to watching develop is that Protz kid, looks like a legitimate bruiser.

Zetterberg was in Las Vegas for the draft, it must have been tough sitting there round after round not hearing your name.

Let's say Zetterberg is really impressive, can Habs sign him as free agent now ? Or Zetterberg must go back to entry draft next year ?

no he has to go back into the draft because he didn't play in North America and wasn't drafted. If he played in the CHL and wasn't drafted we could easily sign him.
As @montreal said, but Zetterberg is going NCAA route in 2024-2025, so unlikely he gets signed unless he goes pro.

Gosh darn it. I could see him being a 3rd or 4th rounder next year if he has a big season, which is a very real possibility.

Beck looks in great shape, he's definitely coming into his first pro season in all business mode. You can tell he's been putting in the work, he'll give starting the season in Montreal his very best try.

Gallagher is on the ice at development camp. I know he gets shit on a lot know mostly because of his contract. Him going to development camp during the summer shows a commitment to the organization to help with the future.
