2024 Montreal Alouettes Thread (Defending the Grey Cup)

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server
feels like the roles have been flipped with Bombers last year.
Als are like 3-3-1 in their last 7 and spinning their wheels..
Bombers getting very hot at the right time.

It's dangerous for Als, feels like they've lost their mojo.
I was never a big Fajardo fan. He's in an offence where he gets to
game manage, but he runs too much and spends too much time in the pocket making slow reads.
It hasn't helped that the receivers have been injured, but I like davis more moving forward.

I prefer Davis too. Many of the runs look like set plays.

Maybe but they should. The only other CFL team that isn't crap is Winnipeg. Hopefully they will go to Alexander if Fajardo isn't getting it done.
I’d be down with Alexander as he’s the present and future of this team imo but I think they will stick with Fajardo no matter what, or until it’s already too late. I have zero trust left in him but hopefully he proves me wrong like he did last year.

It’s not just him though, defense is a shell of its former self and the whole team is off and trending downward at the worst possible time. Complete opposite of last season.
