They still have all the fighters, I think they were fine letting Pitbull go because he’s old anyways but I don’t see them letting guys like Mix go

I forget off the top of my head who exactly but I thought there were a handful of guys besides Pitbull and Mousasi expressing their distaste with the way PFL does business, maybe Mix was one of them. McKee is another one who could absolutely take off in the UFC. Contracts are contracts but when your best fighters are expressing the same sentiment, it gives them a bit of power. The Bellator dispute may give them more to work with from a legal standpoint in terms of being released too.

The biggest issue is the way Bellator was ran leading up to the sale... had them on inflated contracts, Coker really screwed them over by giving them big raises as he sold the company. No other promotion (including the PFL or the UFC) would have ever taken on/held up their end of those deals. PFL is taking a lot of flack because we all want to see these guys fight but this mess was inevitable. Most guys who are thinking of leaving won't make anywhere near even their re-negotiated pay there than they will over at the UFC. That's why only the older fighters who already got paid are going to the UFC for a legacy move, like MVP, Kayla, RDR, possibly Pitbull, etc.
