MMA has a new retirement home, I really wonder who is paying for this
I see a lot of names that I thought were with PFL/Bellator. Were they finally able to get released? Hopefully they actually get paid this time lolThat is a pretty impressive list of names. I don't really care to see many of them fight any more and I don't think other people will either, so this will fail, but nonetheless, from a name recognition standpoint they did about as well as they could.
Part of me also wonders, though, how many of them actually will fight? Or did they just get paid to be put on the poster and don't have any intention of fighting?
better bring his wrestling shoesVitor Petrino moving up to HW to fight Diniz
RIP Bellator
I really liked the novelty of the season format but can definitely see why they're changing. These changes will vastly improve the product
They still have all the fighters, I think they were fine letting Pitbull go because he’s old anyways but I don’t see them letting guys like Mix goBellator >>>>PFL but that situation was untenable so hopefully it brings about a positive change now that it's over. The point system, the laughably dumb live stats, quality of product... PFL needs to step it up in a big way if they want to compete with the big boys.
Hopefully we see some of the Bellator talent come over to the UFC, I do wonder about the testing pool with some of these guys but nonetheless, a lot of them deserve better and I hope they can become more active somewhere.
Yeah, like Taytro I also liked the PFL tournaments. But I think making them primarily for money + boosting your stock as a fighter by putting a nice win streak together is much better than making it centered around the beltCan't have a major promotion that only has its championship fights once a year.. also elbows.
