Wonder where that leaves Pyotr Yan. Everyone else is booked up at the top of that division. Maybe Cejudo?

That's a damn good card, even though Diaz and Tony make me feel kinda weird. Should've just put them up against each other if they're going to fight. I'm sure I'll talk myself into the Diaz return as we get closer, I always do.

Good lord, at least give these guys a fight they could possibly win. I mean I'll give Diaz 1% chance for old times sake, but Tony vs Chiesa...come on.

I'll still watch though, it's definitely a good card.

Nick might actually die if he looks anything like he did against Lawler. That was one of the worst versions of any fighter I've ever seen in my life. It was actually tough to watch.

They should have booked a catch weight with Diaz/Tony, lol.

Yeah, he was so slow. Awful fight. And that was 2 and a half years ago. I doubt he has got better/quicker since then. Must need the money. His brother not sharing, or most likely already blown through most of it.

Ariel mentioned on his show today that Nick Diaz still has 5 fights on his contract. I wonder if he’s actually planning to fight it out so he can do other stuff

And that was with Lawler being completely and utterly cooked like dinner. I take back my 1% chance comment.

First we have to see if this fight actually happens because it's hard just getting Nick to take a four hour flight lol. What are we looking at here? 16+ hours?

Diaz didn’t even look like he wanted to be there, nor did he look like he trained. It looked like they pulled him off the couch and he took the fight on an hours sleep. It was so bad.
In his interview with Helwani before the fight he literally said who ever made that fight should be fired :help:
