Went to the Red Bulls vs nycfc game tonight at citi field. Going out there f***ing sucks, place is a bit of a dump too. Don't know how any of you Mets fans actually deal with going out there on a regular basis. The drive was an absolute nightmare to and from the place (it would have taken way longer to take public transportation there so I was never doing that in the first place)

Agree with the getting there part. I live close the the PA border in NJ and it takes me over 3 hours sometimes to get there. I've gotten to Nats Park in DC faster from my house than Citi Field before. It's f***in brutal.

I disagree on it being a dump though. It has its flaws, but it's a nice ballpark aside from being the home of a dumpster fire team. It blows Yankee Stadium out of the water, if I'm being honest. But is well below Pitt, Baltimore, and San Diego.

Give Soto a blank check, please and thank you.

If I publicly renounce my Falcons fandom and just commit to being a Giants fan will this end or nah?
I'd have to ask my kids. It's really their Saints fandom. It's interesting to me that Saints fans are generally pretty amiable and good natured with the exception of the Falcons and Cowboys. There is a bit of rivalry with Carolina and TB but it's not hostile (with the exception of the couple of years Brady was with TB). Oh and of course the 2018 NFC championship. Mentioning the non-call can still set off a three alarm fire in large parts of the Saints fanbase.

I'll legit lose my mind if Hal cheaps out on him
This is going to be the ultimate test of Hal's prudence, even more so than Judge was since Judge ultimately turned down slightly more money to stay while Hal was basically forced to ante up after the 62 HR season. Soto isn't likely to do that, especially with Bora$ running the show. Will Hal lose the plot and cheap out or will he remember the Yankees are supposed to be Goliath?

Will HAL open the pod bay doors this time?

Forearm discomfort sounds like a ridiculously mild injury. Hockey players would never dream of leaving a game for something like that.

Then again, the injury descriptions in the NHL are so vague. A guy could literally have a severed limb and they might still call it “forearm discomfort”.
