They had a great season, no need to sulk about it. Adjust, do right roster changes, and get it done next year!
Just play Bittersweet Symphony and be done with it like the Devils

I actually thought the Dodgers bullpen would be the ones to blow this in the end, especially considering Cole pretty much got it to the two main guys but the Yankee offense just wasted so many chances, they should have scored twice as many as they did never mind the meltdown of an inning.
I mean a lot of those guys reverted to easy outs in this series (Muncy, Edman, Pages), other than Freddie their bats were pretty well silent until the Yankees gave them that six out inning. Even after that they didn't exactly tack on when neither Holmes or Weaver had it.dodgers are an absolute wagon. even with their starting rotation decimated they still found a way
not a single easy out in their lineup.. they are inevitable. just keep throwing good at-bats at you
(i'm a mets fan)
True, but Soto is direly needed. Even if he commands 50 mil a year, its worth it. I mean what did you get out of Lamehieu and Rizzo this season/post season? They make almost $40m. Soto is almost guaranteed bang for your buck, not a washed up 30 yrd old.I don't trust Hal to keep Soto. Pitching is still not good enough and the bottom of the lineup is a black hole

If they manage to lose Soto, it's going to create a lot ton of disdain with the fanbase.
I'm not one to dwell on things because this season turned out great for a lot of reasons. But between how Game 1 played out and how they pissed this one away, hard not to have a bad taste in your mouth about things.
Mars then.Soto ain’t going for deferred money, he’s a Bora$ client
Aaron Judge went from 'Up there with Dimaggio' to Buckner 2.0
This game, and not to be dramatic, has defined his legacy.
Mars then.
Not just this game. The series as a whole.
