dodgers are an absolute wagon. even with their starting rotation decimated they still found a way

not a single easy out in their lineup.. they are inevitable. just keep throwing good at-bats at you

I actually thought the Dodgers bullpen would be the ones to blow this in the end, especially considering Cole pretty much got it to the two main guys but the Yankee offense just wasted so many chances, they should have scored twice as many as they did never mind the meltdown of an inning.

You give away that many easy outs, you deserve to lose.

I mean a lot of those guys reverted to easy outs in this series (Muncy, Edman, Pages), other than Freddie their bats were pretty well silent until the Yankees gave them that six out inning. Even after that they didn't exactly tack on when neither Holmes or Weaver had it.

I don't trust Hal to keep Soto. Pitching is still not good enough and the bottom of the lineup is a black hole
True, but Soto is direly needed. Even if he commands 50 mil a year, its worth it. I mean what did you get out of Lamehieu and Rizzo this season/post season? They make almost $40m. Soto is almost guaranteed bang for your buck, not a washed up 30 yrd old.

They have to keep Soto. If he walks the offseason is a massive failure and I hope George haunts Hal for the rest of his days

If they manage to lose Soto, it's going to create a lot ton of disdain with the fanbase.

I'm not one to dwell on things because this season turned out great for a lot of reasons. But between how Game 1 played out and how they pissed this one away, hard not to have a bad taste in your mouth about things.

It's about if they take the right lessons from this our not. The team still has some big holes and there are still stupid things happening by the manager.

Hal needs to not settle for this. It should piss him off to want to go all in.

If we start hearing about the luxury tax, efficiency, oh this team is good enough, they aren't going to be back

That felt like the 2009 Canes series loss + 2012 Cup loss all wrapped up into one playoff series for you Yankees fans as a neutral viewer, I was pulling for them because my dad's a huge Yanks fan but just wasn't meant to be but very interested to see how what they do in the offseason

Yes. LA is a wagon. Yes, they deserve it.

But this series left a HORRENDOUS taste in my mouth. Yankees were arguably the better team in games 1 and 5. Game 2 was pretty even.

They were in this series. A handful of horrendous fielding errors on ROUTINE plays cost them that chance. It’s infuriating. I’d rather get blown out like the Mets did in their four losses.

Just a pathetic way to end things.
