if we were in the weeds before, this is the swamp.

I really like Traff’s size/skill combo, Edwards i think has depth pro upside though there probably isnt room for him in New Jersey any time soon, Melovsky is intriguing, and Salminen’s had a roller coaster prospect career but he was one of the best players on a terrible UCONN team and could take a huge leap with Denver next season…

Beckman’s kinda nothing but he’s already played NHL games, Diotte is a name which i have read before… Pikkarainen is ALSO a name I’ve read before, but for different reasons.

Think i go with Edwards here, even though i could see him going UFA after his 4th year next summer. He’s due for a big role increase at Michigan.

add Hauser!

i think our prospect rankings could look VERY different a year from now. There’s a ton of uncertainty around basically everyone in the pool except Nemec and maybe Silayev. It feels like most of the pool is either gonna drastically raise or lower their stock over the next 9 months.

Brennan. Add Cheslock.

Agree that next year's list will look very different.

Can't help thinking there are 5-6 or more people in the Top 15 who will no longer be in the organization (if in North America at all).

Really good point. I think we'll learn quite a bit about Gritsyuk, Hameenaho, and a number of the defensemen not named Nemec or Silayev. Some of the assumed "duds" may surprise us, and others may fall out of prospect completely. I'm not sure how to add more to it other than just powering through with the draft next year and hitting on picks.
