How many people are tuning into KHL games to watch Kantserov? Another unicorn prospect brought up by stat watching.

Feels like Kantserov is underrated on here. Just scored the most points EVER for an U20 player in the KHL playoffs.

During the regular season + playoffs he had the eight most points ever for an U20 player in a single season (played many more games than he rest though). He had five more points in only two more games than 2023 12th overall pick Daniil But.

Commesso, Greene, Allan in no particular order, even Slaggert…all guys who will play in the NHL. Kantserov…not so sure about. Need to see a full year. He’s small, so not as easily projectable.

Weird thing to say about a kid who didn't put up gaudy stats. Quite a few people watched and commented on Kantserov's growth this year. The KHL is not exactly inaccessible, certainly no more so than CHL games for people in the US

I voted Lardis upside. Kantserov was very impressive this past year so I get that mindset. Not sure Greene will excel at anything in the NHL, but just a good all around plug and play is valuable from a depth perspective.

At least 1 - me. I watched every one of his playoff games and a few regular season games. I've seen how good he is on the ice in actual games. He is at worst and NHL level middle-6 winger who plays a 200' game with non-stop motor and determination. Watching the Wild 2022 1st round selection Danilla Yurov play on the same team as Kantserov - Yurov is bigger and a center - but in my opinion Kantserov is the better player.

I only watched two of his regular season games but I caught most of the playoff run because they were generally on in the morning here in the US.

Can easily see a world where Kantserov rockets up to like top 3 in next seasons list
