Pesce is bit cheaper I thought and Dillon is bit more expensive I thought so it evens out. Now go get forwards.

That's pretty not good IMO. The biggest glaring need for replacement there is Bastian and Foote. Bastian just isn't that good and Foote is trash.

regardless of the moves today this team is only going to go as far as jacks health takes them. should absolutely be a playoff team.

Thought he was destined for Calgary, but the report was that they wouldn't do term. Getting a full 7 years probably pushed the Flames out
Crap, I was hoping for DeBrusk. Looks like we aren't getting a top 9 winger. That's a bit of a disappointment as we have a few gaps.

I know the cap is going up which is what GMs are banking on, but I can’t fathom some of them.
Marchessault seems like the best value deal out there, which explains the Devils interest. Feels like we’re going to have to move to the secondary targets like Duclair up front.

Carrier is terrific when healthy but 6 years is insane for such an injury prone guy. Guess they’re comfortable burying that deal when he’s injured at the end.

I think that lindholm deal is gonna be a disaster basically immediately. Maybe hidden by playing him next to pastrnak, but it’s Not Good

Yeah, all these subsequent deals really only make me love that Teuvo deal all the more. I'm really sad we didn't get in on that.

I anticipated $6m for Pesce and $3.5m for Dillon, $5.5m & $4m works out exactly the same. Getting those two guys for $9.5m isn't bad work at all, plus Dillons contract is short enough that we can easily move the final year if needed when the time comes.
