I want Marchessault at a high AAV but lower term, give him 6-6.5x3 and call it a day. He's exactly the forward this top 6 needs. And he'd be awesome with Bratt/Jack
Every dayI take a 40 goal scorer at 6.3 all day.
How do you say Marchessault ?AFPA has Marchessault projected at 3 years / 6.3M AAV. If that's accurate:
6.125 (Pesce) + ~6.3 (March) would leave us like ~5.5-6M in space to re-sign Mercer and add a LD. Pretty doable.
March-uh-sow...I think?How do you say Marchessault ?
Asking for a friend
His skating metrics are actually really poor but he similarly doesn’t rely on his skating. And it won’t matter if he’s on Jack’s hip.March is just a better skating Toffoli, which is a good thing
Sounds like the sell job we got with palat. PassMarchessault is awesome and his game should age fairly well in my opinion. His playoff experience would be a huge add for this team too.
So if we get Marchessault, does Mercer get bumped down to 3RW? Or do we try Meier at LW again?

yeah these are nearly identical players you’ve absolutely nailed itSounds like the sell job we got with palat. Pass
Why would Palat need to be traded? He's never stopped us from doing anything.....I think it’s safe to say we’re not getting Pesce, Dillon, Connecticut Whale Rookie of the Year Jonathan Audy-Marchessault, AND Steven Stamkos. Not unless Palat or Haula are getting traded.
