AFPA has Marchessault projected at 3 years / 6.3M AAV. If that's accurate:

6.125 (Pesce) + ~6.3 (March) would leave us like ~5.5-6M in space to re-sign Mercer and add a LD. Pretty doable.
How do you say Marchessault ?

Asking for a friend 🤡

I think it’s safe to say we’re not getting Pesce, Dillon, Connecticut Whale Rookie of the Year Jonathan Audy-Marchessault, AND Steven Stamkos. Not unless Palat or Haula are getting traded.

So if we get Marchessault, does Mercer get bumped down to 3RW? Or do we try Meier at LW again?

Why would Palat need to be traded? He's never stopped us from doing anything.....

Adding Marchessault to our top 6 would make our forward corps better than almost any in the league. He should do well playing with Hughes and Mercer.

Bratt and Meier will probably stick with Nico.

And Palat and Haula will go to the third line where they should be.
