So no new drivers for 2024?
No and no one switched teams from the end of last year either, which never happened before. Of course Ricciardo took de Vries' seat halfway through last season so at least it's not the exact same lineup from the start of last season.

Many contracts will end this season so there should be some decent shakeup for next year.

The Spanish GP moving from Barcelona to a street track in Madrid should be announced tomorrow.

From meh to shit for no good reason.
This whole trend of permanent tracks being replaced by street tracks is incredibly annoying, but it makes sense from an attending fan's perspective. Most of these tracks aren't in very convenient locations and Barcelona-Catalunya is one of the worst examples of this

Of course you can also show off your city with a street track in a way you can't with a permanent track.

All I can say is that these 10 teams better sign on for life because there could come a day the grid is going to need a team or two and maybe they won't be there then.

I don't like the greed.

Hamilton has been rumored to Ferrari at least half a dozen times over the years, but it seems very serious for the first time....

Probably true, his last chance to drive a Ferrari and it's unclear whether Mercedes will be any better.

Sainz to Sauber in 2025 in advance of Audi coming on board, likely (had been rumoured already). Lots of eyes on that Mercedes seat. Wonder if Ocon finally gets that shot.

I think that's between him and Albon. Too early for Antonelli. There's no way Vesti BEGINS with Mercedes.

I think F1 could drum up more fan interest if they didn't allow drivers to sign with a new team until their current contract was up. Have a Free Agent system.

I get that there's less spots and drivers want to ensure they have a seat, but it would make announcements like Hamilton to Ferrari more exciting if it was for this upcoming season.

Just my 2c.

For purely sadistic reasons I'm kind of hoping Hamilton doesn't bring Bono with him, but just goes with Sainz's current race engineer.
The whiniest driver since radio messages started getting broadcast who's been the whiniest driver despite being the most successful driver ever, on the most successful team ever, the team that was built entirely around him, moving to a perpetual clownshow that never gets strategy calls right and expects their drivers to be their own engineers? How will this go? Question?

Can't wait, personally.
