Each poll will run for 48 hours except in the case of a clear landslide. I will go to the top 25 and include a final poll where you can pick 5 honorable mentions. In the seventeenth poll I am voting for Carey Terrance.

As always the list will define prospects as hockeysfuture does: NHL Prospect Criteria - Hockey's Future.

Helleson. Might be one of those guys who plays better in NHL structure than AHL. I really liked the games he got in with the ducks in 2023.

Lots of boom or bust and projects now. Personal preference at this point.

I’ll go with Pasta since he make progress in the second half of the AHL season.

Not saying I agree or disagree just curious why you think this?
Some players perform better in a more structured environment, especially those whose individual skills aren't really the forefront of their game. I liked helleson a lot more when he played with NHL caliber talent than the Helter-skelter nature of the AHL. We will see.

Reminds me of how things were in Anaheim when the MLB team had Mike Napoli and Joe Saunders performing better in MLB than minor league ball. While Jeff Mathis and Ervin Santana were considered better prospects they had mixed results of inconsistencies on the field. Saunders was far more consistent and you knew what you were getting while with Santana you either got CY Santana or a HR derby pitcher.
