not a great goalie class for sure. seems like everyone asked has a different top 5 list.

anyone see enough of the better Q goalies? warren keegan, samuel st-hilaire, jakub milota and zach pelletier? seems like milota is the best of those 4, but curious to hear thoughts from those who've seen them a bunch.

Agreed. Milota is by far the best. Probably of all first time eligible CHL goalies actually. Not a great goalie class but next year's should be more interesting because of Ravensbergen alone. There are a few interesting overagers available this year though. Matecha, Meneghin and Spunar (though he's actually double overager).

good VHL stats. KHL stats show 5 gp but only 1 win so did he only start 1 of those games? From what I can find he only has 47 saves across the 5 games he's played so a little misleading to say he's had 5 shutouts in the K as I'm guessing several of those were not full games. Either way, agreed he's an intriguing prospect.

@Sticktape

Stopped 16 of 17 shots in 49 minutes in a first round playoff game against Torpedo; his only action for SKA in the post-season.

Kirill Zaburin is 6'4 and has insane stats in the MHL.

Nobody talks about him except the boys from TSLH.

He's a hidden gem IMO.

His stats are only insane if you count one of the two teams he’s played for in the MHL this season instead of both.

carter george is the best ohl eligible goaltender. leading the ohl in save percentage, started for the ivan hlinka

Carter George looked very good against a stacked Saginaw team. His save% was .904 and was getting peppered with 40+ shots a game. IMO agree with @OHL4Life as the best OHL eligible G.

evan gardner seems pretty underrated in the public sphere.

chase wutzke, ilya nabokov, albin boija, jackson unger, marko bilic, louka cloutier, kam hendrickson

Aiden Wright is another I think is underrated.

has anyone seen ryan tamelin from victoria? obviously not a big sample size, kid only played 1 WHL game.
he. is. huge. 6'8". i'd probably use a 7th rounder on him, classic project and hope it hits.

At HockeyProspect.com, we believe that this year's goalie draft class is quite underrated. There are some good sleeper picks who haven't been mentioned much, if at all, this season. Earlier this week, I recorded a lengthy podcast with my colleague Brad Allen discussing 18 goalies that are eligible for the Draft. We also took a look back at last year's goalie class. If you are a goalie enthusiast or have any interest in goalies and scouting, I think you'll enjoy this episode.
