Here hereIf he calls it pop he'll fit in for games in Canada.
But whatever he calls his carbonated drink of choice, I think we can all be united in gratitude that he won't be one of those Georgia-area weirdos that calls everything "coke" no matter what flavor or brand it is.

Only from google, but 4-6 months seems right for returning to contact sport, closer to 6.Well that's not ideal. Anyone know if that timetable for recovery is accurate?

KHL team might not have wanted to go the surgery route. Sharks might have thought it to be better. Wouldn’t have been on the sharks insurance until he got signed? Maybe had to work that out first?Seems like he could have done this right after the draft. Why wait.
Probably 1) want to have a clear path on contract and make sure everyone involved knows what's going on e.g. heading to Saginaw (versus getting the surgery, and then plans get blown up and you're heading back to Russia but just got drafted, no long term contract, and you're injured)... and 2) it takes time to schedule surgery with the surgeon you want.Seems like he could have done this right after the draft. Why wait.
Could be part of the reason why his dad and agent were pushing him to move to NA if the KHL team didn't want him to get the surgical repair. It would probably be better for him long term. That would be the optimistic read on it anyways.KHL team might not have wanted to go the surgery route. Sharks might have thought it to be better. He had a surgery that spring, might be not too successful if another one is needed now though. There was a rumor that he was playing with a shoulder injury as far back as spring 2023, so this isn't totally shocking. Hopefully he gets this taken care of, rebuilds strength, and comes back stronger.
