Some short video clips (don’t have high expectations lol) in this thread

A very rational response to a post about development camp for prospects.

I don’t blame that wise soul. It’s child endangerment to bring so many young people to the Jets facility. You don’t know what one of the prospects might catch there.

I’m jealous you saw Queen back in thr day.
I was very young, but my dad really loves going to concerts so I got to go a bunch.

I have a very negative memory of seeing Bob Dylan at Brenden Byrne when I was ~10 lol. (Shot of Love tour.) In my defense, a woman stood on her seat in front for most of the show.

And it was Bob Dylan and I was ~10.

I was probably as excited to see Billy Squire as I was Queen. I listened to his debut album a lot.

That’s almost as bad as if he brought you to the Jets facility. Dylan concerts make little sense. Maybe that Rolling Thunder Revue was the last one he did before he went off the deep end?

I love Bob Dylan songs. Just... not when HE sings them.

I saw Dylan in college in 1990. A friend of mine was a huge fan and I was the only person they knew who would go, and it was a great show. (His career revived with Oh Mercy in 1989.)

So it depends on the tour. Shot of Love is the last album of his gospel period (aka the not popular period). He was begrudgingly back to playing a few older songs when I saw him in the 1980s, after refusing to on the earlier gospel era tours.

One time Ringo went to see Bob play a show for his birthday (Ringo’s birthday). At some point Bob realizes Ringo is in the audience and starts chatting with him. Eventually Bob asks Ringo what song he’d like to hear and Ringo shouts out a song title. Bob tells him he already played that one.

That's fairly crazy and impressive. Nice work.

"NEWARK − The first time Jack Malone ever walked inside Prudential Center, he was a 7-year-old kid and his family had season tickets to Devils games. Malone has been back plenty of times over the years due to his love of hockey, both as a fan and as a player.

Wednesday capped a special couple of days for the 23-year old, completing Devils development camp with the team he grew up admiring.

"It's special to be here," Malone said after wrapping up camp. "I'm here in the same spot and the same locker room of some of those guys I looked up to. I remember being 8 or 9 years old watching Jamie Langenbrunner and Zach Parise in the beginning of his career. To be wearing the same jersey as them now and be here is very special for me and for my family.""

Some of those music videos from the 80s were severely cringe, even back then.

Time Stands Still by Rush was one I always enjoyed laughing at. Neil Peart floating around a room in the air on his drum kit with different backdrops and the other two guys also walking around on the air. Geddy Lee with a little bit shorter hair and almost looking a little like Bono is kind of amusing.

Yes but rush is amazing so we shall forgive
